Cassette awnings art_01 and art_02

In looks the new art_02 cassette awning from MHZ is unambiguously related to the smaller art_01. The clear style, the modern cubic design and the softer transitions make the art_02, as the art_01 already is, a design highlight for modern sunshade provision on terraces and balconies. Other details too connect the two cassette awnings to one product family.
 

Double design highlight

In their appearance and aesthetics the two cassette awnings differ only slightly. Thanks to their enclosed construction and modern styling, both merge inconspicuously into the layout of the façade. With their purist, cubic form both cassettes are timeless design elements. The edges of the new art_02 have a softer shape in order to adapt to the larger maximum measurements of the new cassette awning. In the art_02 it is also possible to integrate LED lighting.

Big sister art_02

Probably the clearest difference between the art_01 and art_02 cassette awnings is their maximum size. While for the art_01 the maximum dimensions possible were 5 x 3.5 metres, the art_02 is able with its measurements of 7 x 4 metres to provide shade to even larger balconies and terraces. With two units linked together the measurements are even 14 x 4 metres. Yet also the new art_02 manages with just two joint arms, which visually follow one design line.
 

Simple installation even at full size

On the art_01 cassette awning the side caps take on the function of the two brackets. For the art_02 it is likewise the case that only two brackets are needed for the cassette awning's installation. Their adjustable centre-to-centre distance makes ideal attachment of the awning easier. As is already the case with the art_01, with the art_02 also the installation aids are practically invisible behind the cassette.

Both awnings can be fitted to the wall, ceiling or a rafter. While with its low installed height the art_01 was particularly geared towards ceiling installation, the art_02 impresses in wall installation through its minimal wall clearance of just 14 millimetres.
 

Optimum angle for perfect protection from the sun

Thanks to the adjustable pitch both cassette awnings achieve optimum protection from the sun adapted to its prevailing position. The side functional bearings of the art_01 are fitted with integrated tilt mechanisms. That enables the angle of inclination to be adjusted from 5° to 45° via adjustment screws. The art_02 also has a tilt mechanism. Its angle of inclination can be adjusted from 5° to 35° via a spindle.
