Measuring up correctly for adhesive set installation
For models 11-8220 and 11-8222
Für die Montage werden 14,6 mm schmale Klebeleisten an den linken und rechten Scheibenrand geklebt. Anschließend werden die Plissees mithilfe von einschiebbaren Winkeln an den Leisten befestigt. Die Klebeleisten sind auch nach langer Zeit rückstandlos ablösbar. Um das Fenster zu reinigen, lassen sich die Anlagen leicht aus- und wieder einclipsen.
Window frame with rubber seal smaller than 3 mm:
Ordering width = glazing bead measurement* – 2 mm
Ordering height = glazing bead measurement* – 4 mm
*Width of your window glass including the rubber seals
Ordering dimensions for window frame with rubber seal larger than 3 mm:
Ordering width = glass measurement* + 6 mm
Ordering height = glass measurement* + 4 mm
*Width of your window glass excluding the rubber seals
How to measure the glazing bead
To determine the glazing bead dimension, measure the clear height and width of the window glass (including the rubber seal). To account for any window tolerances, always measure the width in several places.
Sloped glazing bead
Where the glazing bead is sloped, measure the width as tightly as possible to the pane, inclusive of the seal.
Where the glazing bead is straight, measure the width from fold to fold.
Installation using the adhesive set is recommended for:
- Plastic windows
- Wooden windows
- Aluminium windows
