Best Innovation of 2017

For several years now MHZ has already been one of the consistently successful companies among the winners of the annual eurodecor readers' poll. This year too we are able, thanks to the readers' votes, to count ourselves among the top companies. They voted MHZ with Greenscreen Sea-Tex the winner in the Best Innovation of 2017 category. With this sustainable fabric MHZ incorporated a textile into the collection for roller and panel blinds in 2017 that consists of 50 percent recycled ocean plastic. The plastic waste for this is collected on beaches and processed into a homogeneous granulate, which in turn is used as weft in the fabric. Greenscreen Sea-Tex thus offers you a qualitatively high-grade product both in terms of sustainable construction and of the overall home/life concept. It enables tailor-made, functional and aesthetic screening from the sun to be combined with the feeling of doing something good for the world of tomorrow.

Double victory for Greenscreen Sea-Tex

Greenscreen Sea-Tex recorded another victory with the Home & Trend Award 2017. The LifeCare-Initiative named the sustainable fabric Trend Product of the Year 2017/18, calling it an outstanding product from sustainable production. In addition to the aspects of design, quality and practical use, the fabric won over the judges above all through the ecological way in which it is made.
