MHZ BeNeLux celebrates 25th anniversary

On 24 November 2017, the MHZ BeNeLux subsidiary celebrated its 25th anniversary at its head office in Hagen, Luxembourg. Chief executive Emmanuel Paquet welcomed new and long-standing customers and suppliers to the celebrations, as well as partners and colleagues. He was also able to welcome as guests of honour at a lively supporting programme MHZ Group joint CEOs Jochen Hachtel and Andreas Kopetschny and the local mayor.

"We are particularly proud of our corporate culture, which is characterised by teamwork, continuity and expertise," said Emmanuel Paquet in his opening speech. "The key factor behind the success of MHX BeNeLux is our employees, who, with their know-how and commitment drive the company on." MHZ BeNeLux has been a proud member of the MHZ Group for 25 years now. Through strength of purpose, high levels of motivation and a customer-focussed approach, it has achieved continual growth.

The MHZ BeNeLux success story began in 1992 in Beggen, Luxembourg. When Horst von Papen, a manufacturer of curtain rails and poles, retired, he sold his business, HVP, to MHZ, with Wilhelm Hachtel taking over the management of the company. In 2008, Hachtel then passed management of MHZ BeNeLux SARL on to Emmanuel Paquet, who has run the business since then with great skill. Following several moves, the company has been based at its premises in Hagen since 2012, with a workforce of 25 employees.

As well as a lively supporting programme the celebrations in Hagen had a further highpoint: the formal unveiling and opening of the new training. seminar and display room. This now enables MHZ BeNeLux to offer its customers training sessions, product seminars and presentations within its own building in Hagen.
