For Hero all-embracing service is a given

Enthusiasm and belief in your own products – that is a successful service provider's secret. Employing expertise and a consistent approach to providing customer advice, Hero Gitterroste GmbH has established itself in the marketplace over the last 15 years.

The company, founded by Detlef Rosentreter in 2003, is now celebrating this success by opening a new showroom in Mönchengladbach. The Düsseldorf-based service provider has now been perfectly showcasing its complete portfolio there since the start of the year. Across floorspace of more than 150 square metres, the company displays made-to-measure insect screen products such as mesh frames, swing doors, roller blinds and pleated blinds, plus light well covers and also grates that it produces itself. For the last two years Hero has also included in its assortment tailor-made MHZ privacy and sunshade products, which it now presents in a first-class shop system in its new showroom. Hero has created in its new premises the ideal ambience for reflecting the high quality of its extensive product range.

Torsten Dix has worked in the industry for ten years. At Hero he is a representative for insect screen and sunshade products and is the point of contact for over 1,000 customers from the B2B, industrial and domestic sectors. Over recent years demand for insect screens has grown significantly. Privacy and sunshade products have also increasingly come into the customers' focus. “You need to recognise people's anxieties and concerns and allay them. To do that you need to believe in the products and explain them to the customer with great enthusiasm.” With around 20 members of staff who deal on site with the customers' wishes and demands, this is achieved at Hero extremely well. The all-embracing service is a given here. It is made up of taking measurements, well-founded advice, optimum planning and expert installation.

Hero recognised its customers' needs and thus expanded its already extensive product portfolio a few years ago by adding first-class privacy and sunshade products from MHZ Hachtel. Roller, pleated and Venetian blinds and since recently awnings too now provide, in addition to their practical attributes, a homely atmosphere and aesthetically pleasing light – with constantly growing demand. The explanation is very simple: “Consumers increasingly want to invest in their accustomed surroundings, i.e. in their home. High-quality products are key here.”

It is a trend that Hero is happy to follow. Very much part of a holistic sales concept their top priority in that is providing advice. Dix and his team visit their customers in person in order to find the best possible solution with them on site. Hero also values the good relationship it has with its suppliers and technical advisers. In MHZ the service provider has found their partner of choice for insect screens, privacy and sunshade products. Thomas Belau, technical adviser at MHZ, is also convinced of the merits of the partnership: “By virtue of the close collaboration we are able to achieve in an even better way our shared objective of offering the customer the ideal solution.” The result is there to be seen in the showroom Mönchengladbach. Nine months of planning and implementation lie behind the two men. “Key factors in our decision to procure insect screening and sunshade products exclusively from MHZ Hachtel were the quality of their products, the variety in the portfolio and the excellent advice provided by their field sales team,” says Dix.
