Project description
The existing facility of the vocational school centre in Rottweil was expanded and converted within five years. The extension building, completed in 2019, is characterised by a clear and modern language. The extension building with common areas, school library, PC bar, seminar, class and preparation rooms and parts of the administration offers the optimal conditions for a new educational environment - combined with modern environmental technology and accessibility.
The s_enn rollable metal curtain from MHZ was chosen as the visual and solar protection, which is characterised by its minimalist look and high wind resistance. In addition to the architectural and aesthetic aspects, the high-quality sun protection system made of matt stainless steel optimally fulfils the requirements of external shading and offers ideal protection against excessive solar radiation. At the same time, the rooms are supplied with sufficient daylight and the connection to the outside world is maintained.
